NetID Password Reset

Reset Your Forgotten NetID Password Online

If you previously established answers to security questions, you may reset your forgotten password by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the NU Validate log in page.
2. Enter your NetID and leave the Password field blank.
3. Click the Forgot Your Password? button.
4. Answer at least two of your security questions.
5. Follow password change prompts and click Change Password.

If you have forgotten your password and cannot answer your security questions, please submit a ticket or email sps-it@northwestern.edu.
